Aircraft engine-building
The following parts relate to typical parts of modern gas turbine engines, processed or having prospects of processing by a method of impulse electrochemical machining:
- Compressor blades and blades of the low pressure turbines from titan, aluminium, intermetalic (Ti-Al, Ni-Ti-Al) and nanostructure materials, designed on the basis of three-dimensional computer-aided design of displaceable turbulent currents to which high demands are made to the quality of a facial layer;
- ring parts of finger-type sealings having a circular block of narrow (0,3 … 0,6 mm) curved cams and special microreliefs on elevating platforms of fingers;
- compressor and turbine blades having a regular microrelief as on the surface of the blade airfoil portion, and on the pull ends;
- turbine blades having intricate apertures for high effective cooling;
- parts of flame tube and turbines having blocks of cooling angle holes;
- ring parts having intricate radially located grooves to which high demands on quality of their facial layer (absence of thermal influence and whiskers) are made;
- cogwheels and gear wheels of a remote-mount accessory-gear box, having a complex lateral
- section and a direct-axis of teeth.
